Member News : Retreat Houses at De-Tong Ling Retreat Center
Member News

Situated on the western end of Kangaroo Island, South Australia, De-Tong Ling Retreat Center offers ideal conditions for solitary, long or short term meditation retreat.

The center has five fully self-contained retreat houses set in pristine bush-land and available for rent at a modest fee. No retreat house is visible from any other. Each is powered by solar panels and gas, and supplied with clean, pure water. The retreat houses have running hot and cold water, showers, flushing toilets, a kitchen/living area, sleeping area and a separate meditation room.

Services are provided by residents on adjoining Yacca Creeks, a lay area reserved for non retreat activity. These include shopping, food delivery, gas bottle and fire wood delivery, and a message service for people in retreat and their retreat supervisors.
